Industry Visit of Operation area

Abstract

On 11th August 2025, the PGDM 2nd-year students of the Operations area (Total Quality Management) at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore visited Sakana Bharat Toy Candy Pvt. Ltd., a leader in blending confectionery delight with playful innovation through its flagship product Toy Candy.

The visit turned classroom theory into real-world learning as students witnessed the company’s process orientation through end-to-end production. They explored robust systems for quality assurance and control in compliance with FSSAI and BIS standards, along with continuous improvement practices driven by preventive measures and regular audits.

The experience also showcased the company’s strong commitment to compliance and certifications, including ISO and HACCP, and its unwavering customer focus on safety, hygiene, and innovation. This hands-on exposure provided invaluable industry insights, preparing students to apply TQM principles effectively for achieving operational excellence.
